2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account information: Your name, phone number, email address, and profile photo when you register.
  • Delivery information: Your delivery address and order history.
  • Payment information: Payment is processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details. We receive a transaction reference and payment status only.

  • KYC documents (riders only): National Identification Number (NIN), vehicle details, guarantor information, and a selfie for identity verification. These are encrypted at rest and accessible only to authorised compliance staff.
  • Device and usage data: Device type, operating system, app version, and interaction logs for debugging and service improvement.

  • Process payouts to riders and store partners.
  • Resolve disputes and handle support requests.
  • Improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • With store partners: Your first name and delivery address are shared with the store fulfilling your order.

  • With payment processors: Paystack processes payments on our behalf under their own privacy policy.
  • With service providers: We use third-party services for cloud infrastructure, push notifications, and SMS delivery. These providers process data only on our instructions.
  • For legal compliance: We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. KYC documents for riders are retained for a minimum of 5 years in compliance with Nigerian financial regulations.
